About The Position

Youth Athletes United, through its Amazing Athletes program, aims to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, focusing on children's first sports experience. The program emphasizes fun while learning the fundamentals of sport, with the goal of ensuring every child feels like an athlete. This approach is designed to create healthy habits, teach life skills, and increase youth activity. Amazing Athletes, founded in 2003, is one of the nation's largest multi-sport enrichment programs, enrolling over 50,000 children annually. The company is seeking coaches for this multi-sport enrichment program. New coaches can work between 5 and 25 classes per week, earning $20/hr, with the potential to earn up to $25/hr. The programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help coaches quickly get up to speed and enjoy working with children.

Requirements

Availability during morning and early afternoon hours on Monday-Friday (9:00 - 11:00 am and 3:00 - 5:00 pm)
Availability on weekends (8:00-1:00)

Use individual attention to ensure every child has success
Use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and create a stress-free environment
Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success
Be open-minded and know that coaching is a continuous journey
Be open to feedback and strive to be better by attending trainings and following the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum
Travel up to an hour to get to a class location
