About The Position

The Youth Ministry Program Coordinator assists the parish in carrying out its mission to form teens in the Catholic faith by supporting the weekly rhythm of youth ministry programs. This role focuses on the planning, organization, and execution of youth nights, retreats, and seasonal events, ensuring that all gatherings are well-prepared, welcoming, and conducive to discipleship.

Requirements

• Practicing Catholic in good standing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience working with youth (volunteer or professional).
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by programming schedule.
• Compliance with Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements.

• Experience with youth programs and event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for weekly youth nights, including setup, materials, and event flow.
• Assist in planning and executing retreats, service opportunities, and special events for middle and high school youth.
• Support volunteer leaders during program gatherings, including assignments and in-program communication.
• Maintain necessary program records (attendance, supplies, sign-in sheets) and support scheduling needs.
• Serve as a pastoral presence for youth during events to foster a welcoming and safe environment.
• Collaborate with parish staff for space reservations and event coordination.
