About The Position

We are looking for a ninja zone coach to join our team at the Y! We spend our days positively impacting the community around us through athletics. We help children reach their potential, enact age appropriate goals, and we change lives in our Y community. The role involves leading and inspiring young athletes in the Ninjazone classroom, teaching gymnastics, movement, agility, and strength-building skills in a structured, fun environment. The coach will ensure safety and engagement while fostering confidence and progress, and guide energizing, fun, and safe programs for all participants. This includes ensuring programs are executed to meet the needs of all ages, abilities, and skill levels, and organizing participation for volleyball programs and leagues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with members and parents is also a key aspect of the role. The Y offers support from an amazing team, including training, opportunities to learn and grow, and the chance to be part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger.

Requirements

18+ years of age
1+ years of background in competitive or recreational sports
Experience working with children
Enjoyment from working with children and keeping positive relationships with their parents
Can lift up to 25 pounds - role requires a degree of physical activity

Responsibilities
