About The Position

OREGON YOUTH AUTHORITY Youth Facility Supervisor 2 - Living Unit Manager Grants Pass, Oregon - ROGUE VALLEY YOUTH CORRECTIONAL FACILITY Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility is recruiting for a Youth Facility Supervisor 2 (Living Unit Manager) to lead the daily operations of a 24/7 close-custody living unit and contribute to a culture grounded in positive human development, safety, equity, and accountability. This role provides strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary team responsible for the supervision, support, and case management of high-risk youth, ensuring trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices that promote reformation and well-being. The Living Unit Manager plays a key role on the facility's Management Team, supports statewide initiatives, and helps ensure compliance with policy, PREA standards, performance-based measures, and OYA's youth-centered mission. Requirements

  • Four Years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience;
  • One year of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with high-risk youth in secure or residential settings.
  • Proven supervisory experience coaching, counseling, and developing staff across multiple shifts.
  • Skill in creating, implementing, and sustaining programming, processes, and unit systems with consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts to support the operational needs of a 24/7 correctional facility.
  • Confidence and sound judgment in making high-impact operational decisions in dynamic environments
  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and expanding knowledge related to youth development, equity, and facility operations.
