About The Position

NET Community Care is a division of Northeast Treatment Services (NET), a non-profit organization serving the Philadelphia region. As a designated Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) for the Department of Human Services, Net Community Care operates CUA1 and CUA7, providing comprehensive child welfare services focused on safety, permanency, and family well-being. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, Net Community Care works to stabilize families, support youth development, and ensure children can grow in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. The organization is committed to strengthening communities through collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. NET/NCC is seeking a Youth Development Outcomes Specialist who will support as a mentor and life skills coach while working with youth ages 13 to 21 (16-21 for youth to be eligible to participate in the Youth Advisory Council). Reporting to senior level leadership, this person will facilitate youth advisory council activities, mentoring young people—including group workshops and individual sessions when needed. These activities will take place virtually, on-site, and in the community. The outcome specialist will research, collect data, and create or find programming that will impact the lives of youth serviced through NET/NCC. This Outcomes Specialist will support and assist trauma/EBP circles and interventions as well as post-crisis reviews with youth participating in select NET/NCC programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Child Welfare, Social Services, Juvenile Justice with at least 1 years' experience working with adolescents.
  • Strong knowledge related to child welfare, social services, and case-management as it relates to servicing delinquent/dependent children and youth.
  • Preparedness to work non-traditional hours when needed based on program needs, including weekends.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills to effectively problem-solve.
  • Must be a team player, patient, flexible, and can multi-task.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
