CHJC’s Therapeutic Crisis Residence Program (TCRP) is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health to provide short-term, intensive, and stabilization-focused care for youth experiencing behavioral health crises. The goal is to assess, stabilize, and connect youth to services in a safe and supportive environment. TCRP provides 24/7 monitoring and supervision, as well as intensive crisis treatment and support for the youth, family, and caregivers to facilitate the youth’s successful return home and/or to the community. The TCRP Clinician is responsible for the provision of direct clinical services to youth and their families, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions. They work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care. The Clinician will also provide crisis intervention, support during transitions, and work toward stabilizing youth in an emotionally safe environment.
