About The Position

Children’s Home of Reading Youth & Family Services (CHOR YFS) is seeking compassionate Youth Care Workers to join our PATHS Program in Breinigsville, PA. PATHS is a community-based, specialized group treatment home serving boys ages 10–15. Youth attend community schools within the Parkland School District and participate in structured recreational, academic, and social activities within a supportive and positive environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about youth development, behavioral health, and making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of college in a social or human services-related field OR
• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of documented experience working with youth
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass criminal history (including FBI) and child abuse clearances
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Build supportive, trusting relationships with youth using effective communication and care strategies
• Maintain safety and security of residents and the facility
• Actively supervise youth during daily routines, recreation, academics, and community activities
• Support individualized behavioral goals in collaboration with clinical staff and case managers
• Complete accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Follow structured program policies and procedures (training provided)
