Youth Counselor Overnight
About The Position
The Youth Counselor Overnight (YCO) is a full time entry level line worker position that provides for the general care of at-risk youth during late hours, sleep hours and early morning for the residents and manages that timeframe of the treatment milieu and routine within a home. The Youth Counselor Overnight is part of the backbone of our quality of care and treatment for these youth. A responsible adult to: Provide a safe, consistent and structured living environment. Serve as a positive role model. Teach important life skills. Perform routine household duties like cleaning, organizing and basic maintenance Support a cooperative and collaborative staff team environment.
Requirements
- Applicants must meet our state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting
- Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff
- Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed
- Ability to climb stairs as needed
