Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree
At least 1 year of experience working with youth
Coursework or background in education, social work, or psychology
CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

Inspire and engage youth in meaningful, goal-oriented activities
Support youth in identifying strengths, interests, and personal goals
Implement youth-centered, strengths-based programming
Facilitate group and individual life-skills training (self-care, hygiene, community resources, etc.)
Use trauma-informed and strength-based language in all interactions
Provide supervision while maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment
Assist youth with problem-solving and emotional regulation
Organize and lead structured group activities and events
Prepare meals and support daily living routines
Transport youth to appointments and program activities
Maintain accurate documentation in an electronic health record (EHR)
Communicate effectively during shift transitions
Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and professional development
Follow all agency, state, and federal policies and procedures
