Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year of experience working with youth
  • Coursework or background in education, social work, or psychology
  • CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and engage youth in meaningful, goal-oriented activities
  • Support youth in identifying strengths, interests, and personal goals
  • Implement youth-centered, strengths-based programming
  • Facilitate group and individual life-skills training (self-care, hygiene, community resources, etc.)
  • Use trauma-informed and strength-based language in all interactions
  • Provide supervision while maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment
  • Assist youth with problem-solving and emotional regulation
  • Organize and lead structured group activities and events
  • Prepare meals and support daily living routines
  • Transport youth to appointments and program activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation in an electronic health record (EHR)
  • Communicate effectively during shift transitions
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and professional development
  • Follow all agency, state, and federal policies and procedures
