Youth Care Specialist - Residential
About The Position
Enjoy working with youth between the ages of 6 and 18? Feel like you can be a positive influence and support for youth who’ve experienced trauma? Cornerstones of Care is seeking team members who want to make a difference in the lives of young people as a safe, caring adult in our residential program. While providing round the clock supervision, your work will include building healthy relationships, teaching life skills, and supporting the child’s treatment plan. We provide a strong, team oriented and trauma informed work environment focused on meeting the needs of youth and our team members. If you are enthusiastic about mentoring and committed to being a positive influence in a young person’s life, this PRN, full- or part-time position as a Youth Behavioral Health Specialist is right for you. Current openings available on all shifts. PRN positions offer flexible scheduling around your availability with a minimum of four shifts worked per month. A shift differential is paid for team members hired fulltime to work 2 nd shift (2:00PM – 10:00PM or 3:00PM – 11:00PM).
Requirements
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A positive, calm attitude is essential.
- Must pass a background check, and physical and drug screening.
