About The Position

Responsibilities include planning school and other health programs, coordinating, and providing health care services to students/clients/staff by performing the following duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing; no substitutions. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • An additional one (1) year related experience is preferred.
  • An individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Valid and current nursing license with no restrictions to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.
  • Current certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Meet requirements and be willing to obtain certification as an Oklahoma School Nurse and pass the OSBI check for child sensitive positions.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
