About The Position
Camp Widjiwagan of the YMCA of Middle TN is Now Hiring for a Day Shift Camp Nurse Position Type: Seasonal – Summer 2026 Pay: $ 160 /day Minimum Age to Apply: 21 Shift: 7am–3pm or 2pm–10pm We’re gearing up for another unforgettable summer at camp—and we’re looking for a Day Shift Camp Nurse to help keep our campers and staff healthy, safe, and smiling! As part of our camp leadership team, you’ll oversee the Health Lodge, support health assistants, and be the go-to medical professional for our camp community—all while living out the YMCA mission and core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. This Seasonal – Summer 2026 role includes an 8-hour day shift (7am–3pm or 2pm–10pm) with on-call responsibilities during your shift. You’ll manage medications, communicate with parents when needed, maintain medical records, and coordinate health operations from pre-camp setup through end-of-summer wrap-up. Bonus: there’s an option to stay overnight in the Health Lodge for additional pay!
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- Education: 4-year college degree required
- Certification: Current RN License (State of Tennessee)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends
Nice To Haves
- Experience: Supervisory experience preferred
