The Youth and Family Coordinator plays a key role in designing, facilitating, and coordinating programming that supports the growth, wellness, and success of immigrant and refugee youth and their families. This position fosters intergenerational connection, strengthens access to culturally responsive resources, and enhances community voice. In addition to leading youth and family engagement activities, the coordinator works in close collaboration with the MEIRS medical team to support Refugee Health Promotion (RHP) program activities and submit monthly reports. The coordinator also participates in school and justice-related meetings (e.g., school intervention teams, juvenile community corrections officer (JCCO) meetings), and helps connect youth and families with mentors, academic supports, and community-based services. Use of Salesforce, ClientTrack, or other tracking software is required to document services and outcomes.
