Come and see why we are The Place to Be. Forest Lake Area School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of a Community Education Youth and Adult Programs Planner. Job Description: Duties include developing, planning, marketing, implementation, supervision and evaluation of social, recreational and educational programming for youth and adults (with an emphasis on adults ages 50+).

Responsibilities

Communicate with instructors and activity supervisors to plan and implement social, recreational, and educational programming.
Complete onsite visits to classes to assist with check in, observe instructors and ensure programs are running smoothly.
Promote all programming opportunities through the catalog, flyers, direct mailings, news releases, social media, and other methods as appropriate for the activity.
Build partnerships with participants, instructors, other Community Education staff, school staff, local businesses and community agencies to develop and implement programs.
Conduct ongoing assessment of community needs and evaluation of programs to ensure Community Education is meeting the needs of the community and providing high quality opportunities.
Participate in community and community education partnerships and networking groups.
Assisting in developing, reviewing, editing and distributing Community Education and related marketing materials.
Provide excellent internal and external customer service by assisting and communicating with Community Education coordinators, district staff, community members, students and/or parents with program registration, scheduling, cancellations, rescheduling and questions for all Community Education programs.
Other duties as assigned.
