The Young Adults Pastor must have a deep love for God, a passion for ministering to young adults, and a heart to build meaningful connections that empower individuals to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in the spirit of faith. Ministering to and leading the EMIC Young Adults Ministry according to the mission, vision and values of EMIC. The Young Adults Pastor is responsible for the development and discipleship of the Young Adults ensuring that they lead them with compassion, minister to their needs and develop community amongst them while connecting them to the church and each other. As the Online Campus Pastor this position is responsible for developing a relationship with the Online Community and developing methods and strategies to better connect them to the church and minister to their needs. YOUNG ADULTS PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Pastor the EMIC young adults providing discipleship, mentorship, teaching, preaching and leadership. Innovate and execute programs that foster community and growth within the Young Adults Ministry. Develop leaders and serve teams within the Young Adults Ministry. Collaborate with other EMIC departments and pastors to remove silos and establish a one-team vision integrating young adults. Develop strategies to support and partner with young adults as they navigate major life transitions (college, career, relationships, identity, and calling). Recruit, mentor, and train volunteer leaders and ministry teams to support young adult ministry activities. Develop meaningful relationships with EMIC/KCM staff, departments, and stakeholders to support outreach and engagement opportunities for young adults on and off campus. Establish specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound ministry goals to support growth and engagement within the young adult demographic. Oversee guest follow-up and assimilation processes for new young adults and visitors. Support young adults through participation in both on-campus and off-campus events. E-PASTOR PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Preach, teach, and minister to e-members and the online congregation through multiple avenues of communication, including but not limited to online services, in-person events, online bible studies, online groups, conventions, etc. Establish and cultivate pastoral relationships with online members for the purpose of connecting them to the mission of the church. Utilize all available technologies to interact with and communicate with our online congregation. Establish a strategic program that ensures every online campus member has a point of connection with the church. Develop, mentor, and train volunteer leaders and teams to facilitate ministry activities online and in-person.
