Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a year-round Process Engineer Intern for its location in Louisville, Kentucky. Your mission, roles and responsibilities Support the implementation and day-to-day execution of the site Health, Safety, and Environmental programs Assist in identifying workplace hazards through shop floor observations, inspections, and risk assessments Help ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and internal HSE requirements Participate in incident, near-miss, and first aid investigations and support corrective action follow-up Support environmental compliance activities including hazardous waste management, chemical control, and spill prevention Assist with maintaining HSE documentation, records, and KPI tracking Support safety training, safety chats, and employee awareness initiatives Contribute to continuous improvement actions aimed at reducing risk and improving safety culture

Requirements

  • Minimum education level: Working towards a degree in Business and/or Safety or related field with a minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization
  • Self-sufficient

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient level of English
  • Exposed to heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Job involves lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety anti-cut sleeves required in production area due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts, and product.
