  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PLM systems; comfort learning new tools quickly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—you keep multiple workstreams on track without missing a step.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams and external mill and supplier partners.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Textile Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and raw material traceability is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own data integrity across FlexPLM and MIRO—inputting yarn performance information, managing updated pricing from invoices, and building seasonal R&D boards used cross-functionally.
  • Support the Yarn R&D team through seasonal development—assisting with trend research, issuing sample yarn orders, managing YIS sheets, and organizing seasonal yarn binders.
  • Coordinate mill and supplier appointments and local trade shows, including scheduling, organization, and attendance.
  • Check in and track seasonal yarn submits, lab dips, and all quality and color approvals to keep the pipeline on schedule.
  • Attend cross-functional meetings, maintain the yarn library, assist with sustainable attribute tracking, and support an understanding of JCI’s testing protocols.
