About The Position

The primary function of a laborer is to work on a variety of tasks involving
physical labor that may include working with materials, building orders, loading
and unloading trucks, working with inventory, and keeping work areas clean and
safe.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years working in a manual environment.
• An understanding of proper ways to load trucks and secure materials.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Knowledge of various materials used on the job.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem solving.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a fork truck.

Responsibilities

• Build orders based on customer requests, ensuring materials and quantities are correct.
• Provide service to customers by retrieving and loading product, answering questions, and displaying proper attitude.
• Experience with operating a forklift.
• Staging materials and supplies to be loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Unload semi and preparing outgoing orders; put away inventory.
• Set-up and clean-up of the work area each day.
• Follow OSHA rules and regulations.
• Other duties, as assigned.
