About The Position

Our branch is looking for a yard worker to maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is Monday to Friday.

Requirements

Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills
Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
Excellent verbal communication skills
Capable of driving equipment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard
Construction related experience
Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
A recent abstract will be required

Nice To Haves

Previous experience repairing small tools considered an asset
Previous experience in warehouse or general labour considered an asset

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading of rental equipment
Status verification of equipment on the yard
Stage equipment for delivery
Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment
Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
Equipment quality inspections
Maintain organization on the yard
Ability to deal with customers as required
Other duties as assigned
