JOB TITLE: Yard Worker – Hardware Store - Part Time JOB LOCATION: Springville, UT REPORTING TO: Retail Supervisor FUNCTION: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in locating products and help customers solve home improvement issues with the right product and solutions.

Requirements

Maintain product knowledge on items carried in the store.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Basic computer navigation skills.
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
Provide regular and predictable attendance.
Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
Prior retail experience a plus.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
Provide high-quality customer service, demonstrating concern and patience in all customer interactions.
Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and operating basic pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Assist in loading products in customer’s vehicles.
Assemble products sold in the store: wheelbarrows, grills, etc.
Maintain a positive, motivated attitude in the workplace.
Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions as needed.
Perform inventory counts and maintain price tags as needed.
Stock and replenish displays and shelves.
Loading and unloading rental equipment.
Process payments for rental customers.
Maintain a clean and professional working environment.
Attend and participate in all Company sponsored training programs as required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and Company policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
