Job Summary
Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of steel, lumber, and other material as needed. This position will be responsible for all warehouse duties including inventory, shipping and receiving, loading/unloading trailers, driving forklifts, transporting material to designated area.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds.
• Knowledge of operating other warehouse materials and machinery
• Must possess a valid ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Must have Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
• Checking loads are secure.
• Always keep the work area clean.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Comply with company policies, safety rules and regulations.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
