Yard Loader Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Safely operate a yard loader to feed material into a portable crusher. Maintain steady material flow to support efficient crushing operations. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance. Communicate with plant and crusher teams to coordinate production needs. Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow established safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
- Capability to sustain consistent material flow in fast-paced operations.
- Ability to conduct basic equipment checks and identify irregularities.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in an outdoor, industrial setting.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
