About The Position
Team member moves trucks and trailers for loading and unloading products Move van trailers between facilities – often requires drop and hook. Move bulk feed trailers and straight trucks to scale and load bulk feed at multiple facilities. Move ingredient hopper trailers to load and unload products as multiple facilities. Move liquid tankers and air can trailers between facilities to load and unload ingredients. Self-paced, exposure to outside ambient temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Move van trailers between facilities – often requires drop and hook.
- Move bulk feed trailers and straight trucks to scale and load bulk feed at multiple facilities.
- Move ingredient hopper trailers to load and unload products as multiple facilities.
- Move liquid tankers and air can trailers between facilities to load and unload ingredients.
- Employee opens and closes bin lids on the trailer.
- Communicate with the plant to coordinate loading of product on the trailer.
- Takes product samples from the trailer bins for QA records.
- May perform specific QA testing of the product and log results
