Yard Inventory Assistant
About The Position
American Roofing & Waterproofing is a proudly family-owned and operated company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Yard & Inventory Coordinator to support yard operations and maintain organized inventory systems. This is a temporary, part-time position ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working both outdoors and on a computer. We are looking for someone who understands inventory tracking, keeps materials organized, and ensures our crews have what they need to succeed. Compensation $45,000 annual equivalent (prorated for part-time hours) Temporary / part-time schedule Opportunity for future full-time consideration based on performance
Requirements
- Experience with inventory tracking systems and basic computer programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, warehouse, or yard operations preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in Arizona weather
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain roofing materials, tools, and equipment in the yard
- Track incoming and outgoing materials using inventory software
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and system updates
- Coordinate with project managers and foremen on material needs
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Assist with equipment tracking and basic maintenance coordination
- Manage yard cleanliness and organization
- Oversee disposal, recycling, and dump runs as required
