We are looking for a yard jockey to assist in moving and spotting equipment required to facilitate the needs of warehouses in organizing and processing material for shipment or storage. The responsibilities of Yard Jockeys include trailer sanitation, moving equipment, and conducting daily inspections. CDL not required
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Shuttle loaded trailers to the facility and returned with empty trailers to be reloaded.
- Move trailers of shells and return the empties to be loaded.
- Have empties in the appropriate docks to be loaded.
- Ensure all trailers that are put in the dock are properly locked.
- Keep the flow of loaded trailers removed from the dock and replaced by empties so as not to slow down the loading process.
- Provide yard checks as needed for trailer inventory.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- This role will be on-site, driving a hostler truck
