About The Position

Load, unload, and move incoming and outgoing materials to support continuous production within established PureField Ingredients operating parameters. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and communication skills

  • Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position

  • Machines and tools, including basic operation and maintenance

  • Must pass required drug screening, physical examination, and background check

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Yard Supervisor in the scale house by using computer systems to weigh inbound and outbound trucks
  • Operate scale house equipment to test incoming grain shipments for moisture, protein, and aflatoxin content
  • Determine acceptance or rejection of shipments by comparing test results to established standards
  • Load trucks with wet cake and DDGS using front-end loader, SkyTrak, and Bobcat
  • Assist Ethanol Plant Operators as time permits
  • Complete daily yard checklist
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Record bill of lading information for outgoing products
  • Load railcars with ethanol following established inspection and loading procedures
  • Record railcar information on loading reports
  • Sweep receiving pit floors, grates, and drive areas using broom and air hose
  • Clean DDGS building using broom and air hose
  • Refuel equipment and check fluid levels on front-end loader, Trackmobile, SkyTrak, and Bobcat
  • Clean scale house with broom and mop (Sunday nights)
  • Move railroad cars using Trackmobile
  • Clean C-111 magnet
  • Dump overage bin
  • Complete daily production and inventory reports
