About The Position

Job Description: Assist with loading and unloading of supplies & equipment Assist in cleaning shop area and yard Installs and maintains equipment – painting, repairing, cleaning, testing May deliver and pick-up parts which could include pulling a trailer May be required to operate forklifts, pressure washers, test pumps, and other shop equipment Performs other duties as assigned Know, understand, and observe ALL company safety policies, and best practices. Ability to recognize and manage hazards. Ability to demonstrate safe work habits. Willing to offer support and assistance to other employees in the shop. Minimum 2 years’ experience Basic Knowledge hand tools Basic Knowledge Power tools Basic Mechanical Skills Valid driver’s license Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, squat, crawl and walk; may have long periods of standing or sitting. Exposure to working outdoors and extreme weather conditions. Must have flexibility to work any schedule based on business needs, including weekends, and be on a “on –call” rotation. Must pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements. You MUST BE 21 or older Work Environment/Physical Demands: Primary work environment is in the shop. Exposure to possible shop hazards considered typical in an industrial environment. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Standing 80% of the time, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, hammering, and heavy lifting, pushing and pulling while handling material. Silvertip is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience
Basic Knowledge hand tools
Basic Knowledge Power tools
Basic Mechanical Skills
