This position is responsible for retrieving rendering trailers that has been visually inspected prior to and immediately after loading of offal, feathers, premium parts, and/or bone residue. Once the trailer has been loaded and weighed, the trailer will be parked on the drain pad for removal of excess water. Each trailer must be acknowledged by a member of management for the following: Time of Day/Night, Trailer #, Accept or Reject to load/haul (ACC or REJ). Any trailer verified and noted as REJ must be physically returned to a status of ACC prior to loading and/or hauling. This includes Foreign Material, excess water, mixed raw materials (i.e., meat & feathers combined) This position is required to climb in and out of the truck. Working in temperatures ranging with the temperatures outside. This position requires the use of personal protective equipment including googles, hair net, beard net, smock, boots, rubber gloves, cotton sleeves, and hearing protection.
