Must be willing and able to follow all safety rules and plant GMPs. Maintain trailer seal log. Check and fuel refrigerated trailers. Shuttle trailers to needed docks and/or off-site locations. Maintain Daily Trailer Inventory Sheets. Report any damage or needed repairs to supervisor. Keep equipment clean and orderly at all times. Must be willing and able to cross train as Material Handler. Assist with housekeeping in the yard and dock areas. Perform any additional duties as needed to assist the department. Must be willing and able to maintain Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Ability to use problem solving skills and work well under pressure. Must be willing to communicate verbally with team members. Must be willing to operate equipment safely. Must be willing to lift up to 50lbs occasionally throughout shift. Team members in this job classification shall experience prolonged exposure to temperature extremes ranging from 60 degrees to 120 degrees F with moderate noise levels. This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
