About The Position

The Full Time - Yard Associate for Heritage Family of Companies is responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Move, stock, and organize products in yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find. Load and unload gravel bags/materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules. Keep yard/warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques. Check/verify orders, complete shipping/receiving paperwork, work with team to meet delivery deadlines. Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed. Physical Requirements Ability and to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday. Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, may be using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work. Able to pass screening - background and drug screen. Work performed in an outdoor setting/warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish may be required based on location‑specific business needs. Prior experience in hands-on, outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse, operational work or similar environment.
