About The Position

This is an opportunity to join Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products, as a Yard Associate at their branch office. The position involves performing an array of functions including reviewing order documents for accurate product pulling, driving a forklift for loading/unloading trailers (70% of daily expectations), and manually sorting and staging material in the yard (30% of daily expectations). The company emphasizes safety in forklift use and maintaining a clean and organized yard stock. Requirements

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired
• Experience with building materials a plus

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments
• Inbound material receiving and put away
• Able to complete work orders and receiving documents accurately
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift
• Maintains clean and safe working environment
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service
