About The Position

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a full-time "Customer FIRST attitude" Yard Associate who is responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • "A must love plants/want to try to love plants" attitude!
  • Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to perform the essential job functions.
  • Able to pass screening - background and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience or certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
  • Experience operating skid steer and/or front-end loader.
  • Prior experience in hands-on, outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse, operational work or similar environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish may be required based on location ‑specific business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Move, stock, organize products in yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
  • Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
  • Keep yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safe/efficient workspace.
  • Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
  • Check/verify orders, complete shipping/receiving paperwork, work with team to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
