About The Position

The Yacht Charter Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of yacht charter operations to ensure an exceptional client experience and optimal vessel utilization. This role involves coordinating bookings, managing client relationships, and liaising with yacht crews to guarantee seamless charter execution. The manager will develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and maintain strong industry partnerships. Additionally, they will handle budgeting, contract negotiations, and compliance with maritime regulations to safeguard company interests. Ultimately, the Yacht Charter Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth while maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in yacht charter management, luxury hospitality, or a similar customer-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and yacht operations.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Yacht and Small Craft Operations or equivalent maritime credentials.
  • Experience with luxury travel or high-net-worth client services.
  • Familiarity with charter management software and CRM systems.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages commonly spoken by international clients.
  • Background in marketing or sales within the luxury or maritime sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end yacht charter booking process, including client inquiries, quotations, and contract finalization.
  • Coordinate with yacht captains and crew to ensure readiness, compliance, and client satisfaction during charters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and industry partners to expand the charter portfolio.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and attract new clientele.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and ensure profitability of charter operations.
  • Ensure all charters comply with relevant maritime laws, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Resolve any operational issues or client concerns promptly to maintain high service quality.
  • Prepare detailed reports on charter activities, client feedback, and market trends for senior management.
