About The Position
As an XRAY Technologist at our Surgery Center, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your primary responsibility will be to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively, ensuring that images are of the highest quality for accurate interpretation by physicians. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and other medical staff to prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Additionally, you will maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall success of surgical procedures and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid certification as an XRAY Technologist from an accredited program.
- Mississippi state licensure to practice as an XRAY Tech.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a surgical or hospital setting.
- Advanced certifications in imaging modalities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities
