Located in the Professional Office Building #52 on the UAB St. Vincent’s East Campus, the facility now provides 6 operating rooms and 9 procedure rooms and a Cysto room.

SUMMARY
Provides general care to patients in the facility by performing the following duties within the operating room.
This is a PRN position. Scheduled as needed.
Work schedule - Need availability to be Monday - Friday for PRN
Operate C-Arm and/or portable x-ray.
Maintain safe environment for patient, staff and physicians during radiologic exams.
Prepares rooms and equipment for procedures.
Maintains a clean environment by daily cleaning of all work surfaces and equipment.
Participates in cleaning all aprons and lead shields as needed.
Participates in patient call backs in between cases.
Required: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.

Specialties include: Orthopedic, ENT, Pain, Weight loss, GYN, Urology and Ophthalmology and GI.

Requirements

• Must have Xray Degree and License
• BLS required
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.
• Looking for availability for Monday-Friday, no weekends!

Nice To Haves

• Xray experience or Xray background preferred
