Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a X-Ray Technologist - Per Diem.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• New York State Radiologic Technology Temporary License can be accepted. Note that it is only valid for 180 days from the start date, after which a NYS Radiologic Technologist license must be provided.
• Required Licenses: Radiologic Tech - Temp Permit, Radiologic TechLic IV-Cert-NYS, Radiologic Tech Lic - NYS

Nice To Haves

• 2-5+ years of experience preferred.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate Radiological equipment to produce clinical diagnostic films as directed by physicians.
• Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform all types of Radiological exams efficiently and competently.
• Exposure to radiation
• Ability to access all areas of the institution
• Ability to lift push pull or otherwise move heavy objects often in excess of 50 lbs
• Ability to lift push pull or otherwise move patient or equipment in excess of 150 lbs with or without assistance
• Ability to see or access information in print and or transmitted electronically
• Ability to hear oral instructions
• Performing job duties may require prolonged periods of sitting standing bending walking kneeling
