X-Ray Technician Per Diem

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team per diem for in person coverage on Mondays. Must reside within travel distance to Middleton, MA, USA. The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Requirements
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure as required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years or more of experience as an X-Ray Technician, preferably in a primary care or similar setting.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with x-ray equipment and digital imaging systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
- Manual dexterity to operate x-ray equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized x-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain accurate images.
- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
