Jaffe Sports Medicine, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Certified X-Ray Technician (Full time or Part-time) to operate the C-Arm for interventional pain management procedures at our growing and established practice in Naples, FL (Downtown Naples). The X-Ray Technician is a trained radiologic professional responsible for operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment (C-Arm) in support of interventional pain management procedures. This role works closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and accurate imaging during procedures, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, safety, and departmental requirements. Requirements

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
  • ARRT (RT(R)) certification required.
  • State of Florida Medical Board X-Ray Operators License required.
  • Significant and experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy equipment required.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Possess strong understanding of fluoroscopy positioning and imaging techniques
  • Display excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Work effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced, procedure-based clinical environment.
  • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment to support physicians during interventional pain management procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, and other image-guided procedures.
  • Ensure proper positioning of the C-arm and patient to obtain optimal imaging while maintaining radiation safety for patients and clinical staff.
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging as directed by the physician in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Apply appropriate radiation safety practices, including shielding, collimation, and minimizing radiation exposure consistent with ALARA principles.
  • Prepare patients for imaging and procedures by verifying patient identity, explaining imaging steps, and ensuring appropriate positioning and comfort.
  • Maintain and perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or service provider.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to imaging and patient care in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support safe procedural operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of radiologic technology, fluoroscopy techniques, and radiation safety standards through continuing education and training.
