About The Position
VSI is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. In this flexible, as-needed role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Virginia Radiologic Technologist License (RT(R))
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical X-ray experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care
- Will gladly consider an experienced Radiologic Technologist-Limited (LMRT) applicant
Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic exams using X-ray equipment in compliance with physician orders and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Accurately document patient records and imaging procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to HIPAA and infection control guidelines at all times
