About The Position

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist to provide physicians with accurate data for clinical diagnosis and patient care. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while selecting optimal exposure factors to ensure high-quality clinical documentation and safety. Administer contrast media and medications according to state regulations and established protocols for a licensed Radiologic Technologist within the facility. Monitor patient safety and vital signs during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity to the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Implement strict radiation safety procedures and guidelines to protect patients from unnecessary exposure while maintaining high standards of clinical quality.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
