How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging producing accurate radiologic films that support timely physician diagnosis and effective patient care. Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care by preparing, positioning, and monitoring patients throughout imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and clinical safety. Administer contrast media within scope of practice and monitor patient responses, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and the interdisciplinary team immediately. Follow radiation safety protocols and quality improvement standards to minimize exposure, maintain equipment performance, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely upload of diagnostic images to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR) to support care coordination and continuity.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
