About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required. State licensure where applicable.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as per physician orders
- Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images
- Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
- Maintain and operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
- Review images for quality and completeness before submission
- Maintain patient records and documentation in EMR/PACS
- Follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols
- Assist radiologists and clinical staff as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
