About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards. M-F 12p – 4:30p

Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R & CT ARRT, is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Venipuncture certificate (proficient in starting IV's for contrast injections)

Nice To Haves

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as per physician orders
• Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images
• Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
• Maintain and operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission
• Maintain patient records and documentation in EMR/PACS
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols
• Assist radiologists and clinical staff as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
