X-Ray Tech Opportunity
About The Position
Join a dynamic radiology team working evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday (3:30 PM – Midnight). This role requires flexibility for on-call and holiday coverage, with 2–3 call shifts per month and the ability to report within 30 minutes when on call. In this position, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality radiographic images for interpretation. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, reviewing physician orders, safely operating radiologic equipment, and maintaining accurate patient records within electronic systems. You’ll work closely with patients—explaining procedures, positioning as needed, and delivering compassionate care—while supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Recent OR experience REQUIRED
- Experience with C-arm/O-arm within the past 8 months
- Level 1 trauma center experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Certification required
- NYS license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
