About The Position

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to support our growing team at our Beach Blvd center in Jacksonville, Florida. We’re looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude, strong work ethic, and a heartfelt desire to make a difference in the lives and health of our patients.

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification
• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Take patient medical history prior to exams
• Correctly interpret physicians’ imaging instructions
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and gain cooperation
• Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimum views
• Set technical parameters, operate X-ray equipment, and monitor image data
• Evaluate images for technical quality and determine if repeats are needed
• Assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms
• Support other modalities or departments as needed
• Restock supplies
• Routinely sanitize exam and waiting rooms
