X-Ray / Radiology Technologist - CCH - Full Time

In this role, the Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to obtain required images for a radiological diagnosis. Responding appropriately to professional staff and patient demands. Assisting management in sustaining a high quality of service. This position will work on the 4th floor on the multispecialty surgical practice. This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, Radiology Outpatient Center for Community Health, working Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography Technologist program.
- High School Diploma/GED
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- New Graduates: Temporary license required and must supply exam date prior to start of employment.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire
- all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Nice To Haves
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) strongly preferred
