About The Position

The X-ray Operator plays a critical role in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment by utilizing X-ray imaging technology to inspect and evaluate internal structures of components and assemblies. This position ensures that products meet stringent quality and safety standards without compromising structural integrity.

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
1-3 years’ experience operating an X-ray machine in a fast-paced environment preferred
Experience of inspecting SMT PCBs
Technically minded
Excellent computer skills
Quality control and part identification experience
Attention to detail
Must exhibit knowledge and/or skill in operating equipment used in the area. Soldering experience toward IPC-A-610 standards is an asset.
Familiarity with IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
Must be able to read, understand and interpret written and/or verbal instructions and have good communication skills in English.
Ability to deal with changing priorities daily.
Prefer at least 1 year experience in an electronics assembly environment.
