In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements: Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Assist in Booking and Scheduling Recording Facilities for Students and Faculty. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Booking Assistant is responsible for scheduling studio and suite reservations for students and faculty, as well as guiding WTD and ATD students (Writing Technology Division and Academic Technology Division) through the process of booking projects, recording sessions, and practice time. While most reservations are made online, there will be occasions when you will assist students in person at the booking window. You will also be expected to answer questions (over email, in person and over the phone) related to booking procedures and recording curriculum across all WTD and ATD departments, including EPD, Songwriting, MPE, CWP, and Screen Scoring. Comprehensive training will be provided by the Booking Manager/Coordinator and Student Employee Supervisors, who will instruct you on all procedures, protocols, and responsibilities required for the division. Based on your assigned shifts, evening and weekend availability will be required. Please take this into consideration before applying and be prepared to discuss your availability during the interview. Our operational hours are Monday through Sunday, 10am–8pm. We require our work studies to work at least 3 shifts (6 hours a week – each shift is 2 hours) and you can work up to 20 hours total. All student employees are expected to reliably cover their scheduled shifts. If any conflicts arise after schedules are finalized, you must communicate with your manager promptly.
