About The Position

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Wrapper for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. This will be a 3/2 rotating night shift schedule from 7pm-7am: Sun/Wed/Thurs; Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat. Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Stand-up forklift experience required
  • Ability to be self-directed and multitask
  • Knowledge of production process

Responsibilities

  • To effectively wrap skids into finished goods for storage in the warehouse.
  • Produce wrap skids
  • Create finished goods labels
  • Job check out
  • Responsible for boxing inventory rolls and skids from rewind
  • Maintains Department 5S Standards, including cleaning and stocking supplies
  • Responsible for keeping T-CART’S running for slitting
  • Responsible for keeping conveyor line cleared to keep slitters running
