Position Summary... What you'll do... Utilizes knowledge of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) to program wrappers accurately and load the correct overwrap onto machines. Sets up, operates, and adjusts galaxy overwrap machines following established procedures and guidelines. Checks the quality of the products produced, ensuring products meet required standards and specifications. Maintains accurate documentation of machine operation, noting any malfunctions or changes. Reports issues to supervisors or management. Monitors machinery to identify optimal times for loading replacement film rolls to minimize downtime. Troubleshoots and corrects programming issues with overwrap equipment. Performs routine maintenance to prevent and resolve any malfunctions or breakdowns. Monitors equipment to ensure it maintains proper temperature settings for proper seals on trays. Follows all safety procedures and guidelines, including using personal protective equipment, operating machinery safely, and promptly reporting any hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents. Actively participates in safety training and drills. Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents and contributes to the continuous improvement of safety protocols. Stays aware of surroundings to ensure own safety and the safety of other associates. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
